Abstract

Education and community service are interrelated concepts that contribute to the development of high-quality human resources. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and explain the contribution of education to increasing community awareness, skills, and participation. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method is a participatory research approach that focuses on community empowerment through collaboration between researchers and the community. Education plays a crucial role in enhancing community service by instilling social awareness, knowledge, practical skills, and character values such as empathy, responsibility, and cooperation. Through programs such as Community Service Programs (KKN), social internships, and community projects, education encourages active participation and social leadership and builds collaborative networks with various parties, including the government, NGOs, and local communities.
